Definition:

FIBROID TREATMENT IS NOW A BREAKTHROUGH IN OUR CLINIC.

At NEEM FOUNDATION HERBAL CLINIC, We have been treating fibroids successfully and effectively for more that 20 years since the clinic was founded. Success rate of treatment is now 100%. Better
understanding of the root causes of fibroids is what has made us the
best fibroid treatment clinic in the world. Fibroid are non cancerous uterine masses brought about by diet 80%, hormones 10%, Family planning choice 10%.

Our medicine is 100% natural enzymes derived from plants. We also give advice on foods that one should avoid eating immediately. These foods cause high body PH and hormonal Imbalance which greatly affects protein metabolism. A fibroid is an accumulation of undigested mass of protein (especially meat) in uterus due to high presence of excess estrogen hormone in the uterus.

How we treat Fibroid in our clinic.

In our clinic, we approach fibroid treatment in 3 ways.

1. Diet counseling. As we said earlier, diet contributes to 80% of foods that women take especially snacks!! Women love them. Maybe you have taken some today if you are a lady. Once you start dieting, hormones will balance and the body PH will stabilize.

2. Herbal Remedy. Herbs helps to break down fibroid tissue by supplying digestive enzymes. They also helps to speed hormonal balancing by detoxifying and cleansing the body. In most African traditions, people used to detoxify once in 2 weeks whereby a person was given herbs to initiate diarrhea and vomiting. Maasai tribe in Kenya still practice this ritual.

3. Electronic therapy. Electronic therapy is a form of special massage whereby fibroids are massaged by use of an electronic device that does deep tissue massage to break down the fibroids. This method is not a must. it is done only to those with calcified fibroids. i.e fibroids with calcium deposits.

Benefits of getting treatment in our clinic are-

Uterine fibroids are noncancerous growths of the uterus that often appear during your childbearing years. Also called fibromyomas, leiomyomas or myomas, uterine fibroids aren't associated with an increased risk of uterine cancer and almost never develop into cancer.

As many as 3 out of 4 women have uterine fibroids sometime during their lives, but most are unaware of them because they often cause no symptoms. Your doctor may discover them incidentally during a pelvic exam or prenatal ultrasound.

SYMPTOMS OF FIBROIDS

In women who have symptoms, the most common symptoms of uterine fibroids include:

* Heavy menstrual bleeding
* Prolonged menstrual periods — seven days or more of menstrual bleeding
* Pelvic pressure or pain
* Frequent urination
* Difficulty emptying your bladder
* Constipation
* Backache or leg pains

Rarely, a fibroid can cause acute pain when it outgrows its blood supply. Deprived of nutrients, the fibroid begins to die. Byproducts from a degenerating fibroid can seep into surrounding tissue, causing pain and fever. A fibroid that hangs by a stalk inside or outside the uterus (pedunculated fibroid) can trigger pain by twisting on its stalk and cutting off its blood supply.

Fibroid location influences your signs and symptoms:

* Submucosal fibroids. Fibroids that grow into the inner cavity of the uterus (submucosal fibroids) are thought to be primarily responsible for prolonged, heavy menstrual bleeding and are a problem for women attempting pregnancy.
* Subserosal fibroids. Fibroids that project to the outside of the uterus (subserosal fibroids) can sometimes press on your bladder, causing you to experience urinary symptoms. If fibroids bulge from the back of your uterus, they occasionally can press either on your rectum, causing constipation, or on your spinal nerves, causing backache.
Uterine fibroids develop from the smooth muscular tissue of the uterus (myometrium). A single cell reproduces repeatedly, eventually creating a pale, firm, rubbery mass distinct from neighboring tissue.

Fibroids range in size from seedlings, undetectable by the human eye, to bulky masses that can distort and enlarge the uterus. They can be single or multiple, in extreme cases expanding the uterus so much that it reaches the rib cage.

Causes & Complication
Causes:

CAUSES
Research and clinical experience point to several factors:

* Genetic alterations. Many fibroids contain alterations in genes that code for uterine muscle cells.
* Hormones. Estrogen and progesterone, two hormones that stimulate development of the uterine lining in preparation for pregnancy, appear to promote the growth of fibroids. Fibroids contain more estrogen and estrogen receptors than do normal uterine muscle cells.
* Other chemicals. Substances that help the body maintain tissues, such as insulin-like growth factor, may affect fibroid growth.
*Worms cysts such as eurytrema pancreatica, tapeworm, have been found in most cases of fibroids
* Birth control pills
* Spermicides on condoms
* Hormone replacement therapy
* Ingredients in cosmetics
* Plastic cookware
* Growth hormones in meat and milk
* Pesticides and herbicides
* PCBs - polychlorinated biphenyls

Complications:

COMPLICATIONS OF FIBROIDS

Uterine fibroids are dangerous;
• They can cause discomfort and may lead to complications such as anemia from heavy blood loss. Fibroid tumors can grow out of your uterus on a stalk-like projection. If the fibroid twists on this stalk, you may develop a sudden, sharp, severe pain in your lower abdomen. If so, seek medical care right away.
• Because uterine fibroids typically develop during the childbearing years, women with fibroids are often concerned about their chances of a successful pregnancy.They can distort or block your fallopian tubes, or interfere with the passage of sperm from your cervix to your fallopian tubes. Submucosal fibroids may prevent implantation and growth of an embryo.
• Research indicates that pregnant women with fibroids are at slightly increased risk of miscarriage, premature labor and delivery, abnormal fetal position, and separation of the placenta from the uterine wall. Furthermore, complications vary based on the number, size and location of fibroids. Multiple fibroids and large submucosal fibroids that distort the uterine cavity are the type most likely to cause problems. A more common complication of fibroids in pregnancy is localized pain, typically between the first and second trimesters. This is usually easily treated with pain relievers.
